“All the voices in your head are NOT your own.” Hearing that from Dan Burke’s teaching of St Ignatius’ discernment of spirits shocked me. He explained that there is your voice, and God’s, and the enemy’s! Knowing that empowers us to reject the enemy as soon as he tempts. This skit spotlights humorously the real battle we face in our heads each day. Click over to the full Family Conquest. The “To Do” activity in the Wrapping It Up section asks families to share any stories they may have about a time they witnessed a humble person be exalted or praised or rewarded for their good efforts.

- They started to listen to him.
- When they continued to listen to his temptations and talk to him.
- The devil become more insistent and harder to manage after Jason broke God’s commandments by stealing the Bit O Honey bar.
- The devil’s weight even caused Jason to ‘fall,’ when he was trying to steal the $5 bill that had been dropped by the old lady.
- When they rejected his temptations, repented of their wrong doing, and made amends by going to pay for the candy.
