What Blessings Do for Kids

If dads are supposed to imitate Jesus, did Jesus bless children?

Yes!
“Children were brought to Jesus so that he could lay His hands on them in prayer.” – Matt 19:13

Does a dad have to first be perfect himself in order to bless?

Nope!
Just like priests aren’t perfect, God works through imperfect people to bring about His perfect love and His perfect plans.
A strong Catholic dad isn’t a perfect Catholic dad. He strives to grow strong in faith, strong in hope, and strong in love.
