(View segment from :50 to 6:39)
Did Sara Tucholsky hit a home run?
- Yes.
Did she have everything she needed to score?
- Not after she injured her leg.
- She couldn’t make it around the bases.
How was Sara just like a poor soul in purgatory?
- She earned the right to score after she hit a home run. Similarly, the souls in purgatory have been judged favorably by God and given the right to go to heaven some day.
- However, Sara couldn’t help herself get home. Just like the poor souls, she needed others to help her reach her destination, home.
